Nap Attacks!

My daughter doesn't just take naps she is taken by them. They often strike quite unexpectedly and can happen anywhere. There is a blog, Naps Happen, that details the many odd naps of children and it is really cute. Here are a few of my favorite naps of Betty's...

This is just today! She's actually still sleeping but I've moved her onto the couch and covered her with a blanket. Sleepy girl

This one is actually quite typical. I sometimes let her watch Dora the Explorer on my phone and she'll start out sitting up and end up like this. She doesn't often fall asleep on the floor though.
When my parents came to visit from Alaska we went to the beach together and my Dad and Betty took turns burying each other in the sand. Apparently Betty found it to be pretty relaxing.
He Tried to wake her up
 And she thought about it...
But decided to keep sleeping.

Sometimes She falls asleep sitting up

So This is also a very typical nap for Bee Bo but she just looks so cute! I love that she sleeps with her hands behind her head like that because that's how her daddy sleeps ( I'd post a pic of them napping together but I've gotten in trouble for doing that in the past.)
This one is my favorite! We went to Vermont to Betty's Grandparents house to see them and all of Betty's Aunts and Uncles and Betty just checked out and decided she'd gone far enough.

So precious.

In the middle of a room filled with people and bustling with activity.
So we decided to entertain ourselves.
Nobody in that room should be allowed to get bored.
Case in point.

So I love these silly naps but my favorite naps are the snuggly ones.
This one is over a year old - taken in our apartment in Alaska.

Here's part of the view she was missing..

Here's the other part. It's okay though becouse we went there many times with her. Hopefully we'll get to again.

  9. Do you need a bouncer and swing ⒷⒶⒷⓎ ⓈⓌⒾⓃⒼ?
At some point, you will need to slip out of those yoga pants and undo your ponytail (the new-mom uniform!) to take a shower. And, when you do, you’ll be faced with the age-old question: “Where should I put the baby?” That’s where a bouncer or swing comes in super handy.
