My afternoon playlist

Here's some music that's making me happy today:

1. My moon my man by Feist I'm totally going to do this the next time i'm in an airport. hopefully that won't be for a while as I'm terrrrrrrified of flying!

2. Bottle it up by Sara Bareilles

3. The Fear by Lily Allen - bad words :( I really want to live in this camper.

4. The Thing About Grief by Clare Bowditch and the Feeding Set I couldn't find a video but this is another fun page

5. Heavy Like Sunday by Leona Naess

6. Winter Moon by Mindy Gledhill Puppets!

7. You Don't Know Me by Ben Folds - bad words and odd behavior :( I do like the Betty tattoo though.

8. Merry Happy by Kate Nash

9. Oh boy by She & Him

10. Hometown Glory by Adele

11. Far Away by Ingrid Michaelson This is my favorite song right now and the Paint pictures on this video make me giggle.

I guess I've just been in the mood for sweet sounding pretty lady voices... and Ben Folds. Has anyone else noticed that this haircut...
has become the go to hairstyle for the vulnerable hipster/faerie songstress? (Five points to anyone who can list all of the ladies from the above list with this do.)
I like to listen to music like this on sunny afternoons when Betty is playing in the living room and I'm doing laundry and cutting her apple into 16ths. I keep the Kitchen door open so a breeze can come in through the screen and Betty and I can go in and out whenever to blow bubbles in the yard. Afternoons like this are often made possible by my Pandora.com Ingrid Michaelson station because it's easy music for preoccupied moms. Have a nice day!

  1. I really like your song list! I also really like that haircut by the way, I think that will be my end goal when I am done with these horrible growing out stages!
